Central Plant Optimization Product

For customers with a complex energy environment (such as a campus or industrial client), we offer a central plant optimization product to fully optimize all elements of the operation.

To implement a central plant optimization, Viridity will create a customized energy optimization model in VPower™ of the operation’s energy assets, along with multiple factors behind the operation’s supply contracts.  Through this product, Viridity can produce a product capable of:

• optimizing the balance of infrastructure assets to meet the various demand streams;
• optimizing against natural gas and electricity commodity positions; 
• managing demand charge exposure, and 
• monetizing load flexibility using various market programs and settlements with their commodity suppliers.  

This type of product provides our client with a new operational strategy that allows them to maximize energy savings while creating untapped new energy revenues out of existing energy assets
